If serenity in the morning is important to you, do not underestimate the power of the Breakfast Schedule.
Same, but different, breakfast menu each week.
M – smoothie & muffin. (i make a dozen muffins every other week and keep them in the freezer).
T – frittata, made with tofu or eggs.
W – waffle wednesdays! waffles, from a box, with fruit. (for kids)
Th option (for me)
Th – oatmeal, buckwheat, chia pudding, or parfait, all with fruit (often berries).
F – sh!t on toast
Sa – cereal, from a box. (for kids)
mommy & daddy go out for brunch/lunch
Su – make breakfast as a family, usually pancakes.
